Salon Policies

Cancellation Policy

FOIL+GLOSS Salon requires a 48-hour notice to reschedule or cancel any appointment. A credit card is required on file to secure bookings. This ensures that our stylists’ time is respected. Failure to follow this policy will result in a 50% charge to the card on file.

Day-of Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Same-day cancellations will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.

  • No-shows (with no attempt to contact the salon) are also subject to this charge.
    We understand that emergencies happen and will always take this into careful consideration.

Reschedules & Changes

All cancellations, reschedules, or service changes must be made by calling FOIL+GLOSS Salon directly. We do not accept cancellations or changes via email or text, to ensure clear communication. Failure to call will result in enforcement of our cancellation policy.

Same-Day Service Changes

Arriving to your appointment and removing services (such as canceling a color) or altering the appointment the same day will be treated as a same-day cancellation, and our cancellation policy will apply.

Sick Policy

If you are feeling unwell and need to cancel the day before, 50% of the service fee will be charged. This amount will be credited toward your next visit if rescheduled within 10 days of the original appointment. If the rescheduled appointment is canceled for any reason, the credit will be forfeited.

Late Arrivals

To respect both our guests and staff, we ask that you arrive on time.

 

  • Guests arriving 15+ minutes late may be accommodated at the stylist’s discretion if their schedule allows.

  • Guests arriving 30+ minutes late will be considered a no-show, and our cancellation policy will apply.

 

Appointment Reminders

Our automated system sends text reminders 72 hours prior to your appointment. At 48 hours, our receptionist and reminder system will confirm your booking.

Child Policy

We kindly ask that you make arrangements for childcare prior to your visit. To maintain a relaxing environment, children are not permitted in the salon during appointments. If you arrive with a child, your appointment will be rescheduled and subject to our Same-Day Cancellation Policy.

Service Satisfaction Policy

At FOIL+GLOSS, quality and guest satisfaction are our top priorities. If you are not fully satisfied, please let us know before leaving so we can make adjustments.

 

  • Complimentary Adjustments: Reasonable tweaks may be made at no charge within 7 days of the original appointment.

  • Exclusions: Adjustments do not apply to corrective color services or services requiring multiple visits.

  • Process: Please call us directly with concerns so we can work with you to make it right.

  • Refunds: We do not issue refunds on services.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for anyone demonstrating verbally abusive, inappropriate, or disrespectful behavior toward our staff or guests.
